  • The candidate: Must be a Bahraini citizen (to be supported by Tamkeen recruitment program after the internship)

We are looking for an Intern Consultant to join our Bahrain team for 6-month internship starting ASAP (date to be confirmed), with recruitment opportunity depending on your performance and project needs.

You will report to a Senior Project Manager in Bahrain, and work alongside consultants based globally. You will be supporting our clients by conducting research and experts interviews, contributing to problem solving sessions, analysing data, writing up your insights and presenting your recommendations to our clients. You will also support Amane’s commercial efforts in the region by helping prepare pitch documents for clients.

You may also contribute to some internal tasks on certain topics under the supervision of a Senior Project Manager or a Senior Consultant.

Coming from the Business or Engineering classroom you will have an opportunity to see how that knowledge is applied practically in water companies in the industry and have a global view of the water industry from business standpoint.

What you need to make an impact:

  • Must be a Bahraini citizen
  • Freshly graduated or in the last year of Business or Engineering school with double training and specialization in environmental issues
  • First work experience is an advantage (less than 2 years)
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills in English; Arabic is a must, third languages is an advantage
  • Analytical and at ease with numbers and strong attention to details, problem-solving oriented
  • Deadline-driven, flexible, able to multi-task and willing to learn
  • Interest in water-related environmental issues
  • Proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Ideally with international exposure (study/work) and prior experience in consulting role
