Role

This newly created role reports to the Head of Knowledge & Research and is an integral part of Amane’s growth strategy.  In this role you would own, build/enhance and manage our knowledge assets, for example expert and company databases on a day-to-day basis, as well as support the core consulting team on knowledge requests as needed on a project basis.

In this role you will:

  • Support a range of projects and initiatives to ensure all market knowledge is captured, maintained and shared with the right audience at the right time
  • Ensure knowledge and databases remain relevant, up-to-date, of high quality and findable, working closely with a range of stakeholders to stay abreast of changes and project needs, while ensuring high levels of confidentiality.
  • Cultivate a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement using data, metrics, stakeholder insight and commercial awareness.
  • Support, coach and collaborate with internal stakeholders on the value that well organised, governed and shared knowledge can bring.
  • Bring value through your knowledge asset creation, quality and governance experience, as well as your proven ability to connect people, innovate and optimise knowledge processes, technologies and ways of working to deliver tangible business benefits.

Qualification

At least 3-5 years of experience in a knowledge management/research role. Experience in a professional services setting such as strategic consulting would be useful but is not essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent written and spoken English; a second language is an advantage, for example French
  • Demonstrative experience in research and database management
  • Excellent written skills, with good attention to detail
  • Analytical mindset and ability to synthesise a large amount of information/data and at ease with numbers
  • Experience in build and designing slides with clear message and storyline across slides
  • Able to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Interest in water-related environmental issues and sustainability, ideally with experience and knowledge in water/solid waste
  • Propensity to take initiative, assume accountability, and seek out better ways of working and communicating
  • International exposure, either working or studying in other countries, is a plus
  • Proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
