Amane Advisors Welcomes New Partner Mathieu de Kervenoael

Multi-dimensional experience diversifies firm’s offering and expands presence in environmental and sustainability arenas

OXFORD, United Kingdom – Amane Advisors, the premier global consultancy and advisory focused on the water industry, announces that Mathieu de Kervenoael has joined the firm as its newest Partner. Based in France, he will contribute to accelerating business expansion and diversification.

Mathieu brings to Amane more than 25 years of experience with many of the world’s leading companies in the water and environment sectors. His responsibilities have spanned business development, operational management and finance, as well as management of large, strategic and transversal projects that go beyond the traditional top-down approach and cut across multiple functions and practice areas.

Beyond water, Mathieu also brings expertise in solid waste and renewable energy, allowing Amane to connect the water industry to these segments, expanding the value of water and generating opportunities for its clients. His deep experience includes managing public services and utilities as well as developing greenfield or brownfield infrastructure projects for governments or local authorities, and global industrial accounts.

Currently serving as an elected member of the International Water Association (IWA) Strategic Council, Mathieu is a global player with business exposure to both developed and emerging countries. He holds a Master in Business Administration from the prestigious HEC Paris Business School, France.

“I am thrilled to join Amane Advisors as a Partner, as the spotlight shines brighter than ever on the essential nature of water and the industry’s need for funding. Water offers multi-impact investment opportunities, due to its interconnection with climate change, the agri-food value chain, industrial productivity, healthcare, renewable energy, ecosystem services and biodiversity. I believe that Amane is uniquely positioned within the global water industry to serve both corporate and financial players around the world,” Mathieu noted.

“We are pleased to welcome Mathieu to Amane Advisors’ growing team.” said Thierry Noel, Amane’s Founder and Managing Partner. “Mathieu’s exceptional experience adds exciting new dimensions to our expanding capabilities – particularly on impact investments and the circular economy where we believe water has a larger role to play, attracting more capital and providing new opportunities to water companies and innovators. But it also extends to developing innovative financing solutions dearly needed in our Capex-intensive industry and serving new clients such as international financial institutions and international development funds. Mathieu will play an important role in helping our clients navigate the water sector, and chart a course aimed at maximising emerging opportunities, offering new solutions, and designing tomorrow’s successes.”
