Amane Advisors has successfully supported innovative water treatment equipment company Typhon Treatment Systems to secure critical financial backing from Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures (SAEV), the corporate venturing subsidiary of Aramco, the world’s largest integrated energy company.

Established in 2014, UK-based Typhon offers the world’s first LED-based UV water treatment technology for high flow municipal and industrial applications, delivering as much as 90% energy efficiency savings over traditional UV technology. Typhon’s systems are focused on disinfection of microorganisms and photochemical advanced oxidation processes (AOP) for removal of micropollutants. Through lower temperature operation and chemical-free disinfection processes, their solutions provide significantly lower lifecycle costs, reducing opex by up to 70%. The ingenuity of the technology was reflected at the 2019 Global Water Awards where the company was awarded a distinction in the Breakthrough Technology Company of the Year category.

Seeking to take the company to the next stage of growth, Typhon engaged Amane as its exclusive advisor to assist in raising additional capital to expand manufacturing capability and scale their business further in both national and international markets.
